Hello there & Welcome!

My name is Adam Thompson. I am a Kentucky based landscape photographer specializing in capturing the natural beauty that is abundant in Appalachia. You seem to have stumbled upon my little slice of the internet.

If you’re looking to improve your photography or to level up your wilderness skills, then you’ve come to the right website!

I have spent the last several years of my life dedicated to exploring the wilderness of Appalachia America with my camera. Along the way, I have learned a lot, and I love nothing more than sharing that knowledge freely with others. Since all of these resources can be an overwhelming amount of information I’ve created this step by step guide to help get you started.

Get to Know Me

I’ve never been very good at writing these sorts of introductions, so I’ll try to keep this short and sweet.

I am a Kentucky based landscape photographer who specializes in photographing the natural beauty that is abundant across Appalachia.

There’s nothing I love more than getting out into the wilderness with my camera. As such, the vast majority of my free time is spent either actively doing so or preparing to do so.

As with anything in life, the longer I do this stuff the more I learn about it. I don’t just selfishly hoard all of this knowledge, however. On the contrary, I love having the chance to share what I’ve learned with the world. It’s my hope that in doing so I can help you progress on your own photographic journey.

You can check out my About Me Page to learn more about me or head over to my photography portfolio.
